DR. Elmer Pineda

Dr. Pineda has enjoyed practicing general urology at Inland Urology Medical Group since 2001. His educational career began at the Univ. of California at Berkeley where he graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Physiology in 1990. He completed his medical doctorate at the University of California at Davis in 1995. By 2001, he had completed 2 years of general surgery and 4 years of urology training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. During this time as a resident physician, he was the author of a book chapter, abstracts and articles on several urologic topics including urinary incontinence and minimally invasive urologic surgery. His volunteer work during this time included a medical mission to Honduras working with pediatric urologists to treat congenital urologic disorders. He has been board certified in Urology since 2003.

Dr. Pineda treats a variety of adult and pediatric urologic disorders. He has a special interest in the treatment of kidney stones, female urology (including the treatment of urinary incontinence), benign prostate disorders and genitourinary cancers. He also has expertise in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of kidney stones and laparoscopy (including the use of the da Vinci robotic surgical system). He is an assistant clinical professor at the Western University School of Medicine, and holds leadership roles at Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center and Casa Colina Hospital for Rehabilitative Medicine.

Dr. Pineda is married with 4 children. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golf and Filipino martial arts.
